Open and ongoing coverage
No call or weekend requirements
Flexible 8- or 10-hour shifts
32–40 hours per week
Collaborative, supervised anesthesia team
Assignment Details
Start: As soon as credentialed
End: Ongoing
Schedule: 32–40 hours weekly in 8- or 10-hour shifts
Availability: Must work either Monday or Friday each week
Coverage type: Scheduled clinical hours; no call
Volume: Approximately 50 surgical cases daily across multiple operating rooms
Setting: Hospital-based Level II trauma center
Patient population: Pediatrics through geriatrics
Support: Direct anesthesiologist supervision and multidisciplinary surgical teams
EMR: Epic
Credentialing: Approximately 90–120 days
Clinical Details
Required scope: General surgical anesthesia for adult and pediatric patients
Additional scope: Neurosurgical cases, spinal anesthesia, and local infiltration anesthesia
Airway management: Ventilator management and emergency intubation
Perioperative care: Preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative monitoring
Requirements
Board-certified CRNA
Minimum one year of CRNA experience
Active Michigan license
Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
Current PALS certification
Active DEA
