We are seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum tenens assignment in Minot, ND. The CRNA will provide anesthesia services under medical direction across a broad mix of surgical specialties in a busy hospital operating room environment. This assignment supports vacancy coverage with consistent weekday shifts and no call requirement.
Job Responsibilities
🫀 Work under medically directed anesthesia model with anesthesiologist supervision
🏥 Deliver safe perioperative anesthesia management in the OR
👶 Support healthy pediatric anesthesia cases
📊 Document anesthesia care in EMR or paper charting system
⚡ Collaborate with OR and surgical teams to ensure efficient case flow
Qualifications
🪪 Active APRN license (ND license or compact eligible with application upon offer)
💉 ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications (Required)
⏳ Recent clinical experience within the last 12 months (Required)
🏥 Experience in multi-specialty hospital OR setting preferred
Working Hours
🕕 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (8-hour shifts; 10-hour shifts may be considered)
📅 Full-time coverage as assigned (recurring blocks across multiple weeks)
📌 Must be available on Fridays
🚫 No call required
Skills
🫀 Orthopedic, OB/GYN, ENT, vascular, general surgery cases
👶 Healthy pediatric anesthesia experience
🧪 Regional anesthesia exposure (if applicable per facility need)
🏥 Ability to work in a medically directed anesthesia model
🖥️ Familiarity with Cerner or paper charting workflows
⚡ Efficient OR turnover and perioperative management
