We are seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for a locum tenens opportunity at a well-established hospital in Minot, ND. This is a high-income, no-call position with travel fully covered and a supportive, medically directed environment.
🏥 Position Overview
Join a collaborative anesthesia team working across 8 operating rooms, providing care for a variety of surgical cases. You’ll work under medical direction by anesthesiologists, supported by anesthesia techs who handle room setup and equipment.
📅 Coverage Dates
- June: Full month coverage
- July 6 – July 10: 2 providers needed
- July 27 – July 31: 3 providers needed
- August 10 – August 14: 2 providers needed
- Aug 31 – Sept 4: 2 providers needed
- Sept 7 – Sept 11: 2 providers needed
- Sept 14 – Sept 18: 3 providers needed
🕒 Schedule
- Monday – Friday
- 8-hour shifts: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- Option for 10-hour shifts (discuss during interview)
- No call required
🩺 Case Mix
- General Surgery
- Orthopedics
- OB/GYN (No epidurals for CRNAs)
- ENT
- Vascular
- Healthy Pediatrics
Not Included: Hearts, Heads, Pain, Regional Blocks
GI: Rare (may be required occasionally)
💼 Responsibilities
- Provide safe and effective anesthesia care across surgical specialties
- Perform airway management, induction, and maintenance of anesthesia
- Monitor patient status and respond to intraoperative changes
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists and surgical teams
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation using Cerner EMR (plus paper charting)
✅ Requirements
- CRNA Certification (NBCRNA – Board Certified Required)
- Active APRN license (ND or compact; must apply upon offer)
- Recent clinical experience (within last 12 months)
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
- Case logs preferred (not required at submission)
