A hospital is seeking CRNAs for locum tenens coverage beginning August 2026, with full-time scheduling and extension options.

Position Details

Role: CRNA

Practice Setting: Hospital (Level I Trauma Center)

Coverage Type: Locum Tenens

Start Date: August 17, 2026 (flexible after August)

Contract Length: 26 weeks (extension options available)

Positions Needed: 3

Schedule

4x10-hour shifts per week

Start times:

7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch)

Facility prefers candidates open to 10:00 AM start times

Full-time coverage required

Must be available 4 weeks per month

No call required

Patient Volume

1–9 patients per day

Patient Population

Infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics (no neonatal)

Clinical Responsibilities / Procedures

Intubation

Central line placement

Arterial line placement

General line placement

No OB

Blocks not likely required

Covers:

Orthopedics

Trauma

Vascular

Neuro (no cardiac)

All providers required to work NORA cases

Practice Environment

Medically directed model

Typical supervision:

2–3:1 CRNA to anesthesiologist

Up to 4:1 for low acuity cases

Support includes:

CRNAs

Anesthesia techs

Anesthesiologists

Residents

EMR: Epic

Credentialing

Estimated timeframe: ~90 days

Option for weekly expense allowance up to $1,500 in lieu of reimbursements

Requirements

NBCRNA – required

Kentucky license – required (open to licensing)

Minimum 1 year experience – required (no new grads)

Must have recent experience in a large medical center setting – required

Level I trauma experience – required
