- Duration: 26 weeks (ongoing and PRN dates available)
- Shifts per Week: 5
- Shift Duration: 8-hour days (7a–3p or 7a–5p)
- Call: Weekdays 5p–7a; 24 hours on weekends (post-call day off during the week)
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $7,920 – $8,350 (competitive pay for locum tenens jobs)
- Setting: Hospital-based anesthesia — mix of OR and OB cases; ideal for CRNA hospital-based anesthesia experience
- Case Types: General, Endoscopy, Orthopedics, Joint Replacement, Urology, Ophthalmology, OB/GYN, ENT, Radiology with anesthesia
- EMR: Epic (experience with Epic EMR preferred)
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent CRNA experience (hospital-based preferred)
- Active Indiana RN license and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist credential; state licensure required
- Enrollment in INPCF required
- ACLS certification (AHA required)
- 250 case logs per year for the past 2 years
- Proficiency in spinals, epidurals, and regional blocks (regional anesthesia skills required)
- Willingness to take scheduled call and provide OR/OB coverage — strong OR anesthesia and OB anesthesia experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, high-quality anesthesia care across a wide variety of surgical and procedural cases (general anesthesia, regional anesthesia, OB cases)
- Perform spinals, epidurals, and regional blocks as required
- Collaborate with on-site MDs and Anesthesia Assistants; MDs on site, no supervision required
- Take scheduled call and provide coverage for both OR and OB cases to ensure continuity of patient care
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in Epic EMR and comply with hospital policies, credentialing, and INPCF enrollment
