A high-demand Locum CRNA opportunity is available in Charleston, South Carolina within a major academic medical center and Level 1 trauma environment. This assignment offers the opportunity to work in a large surgical program with a diverse range of cases across multiple hospital and ambulatory surgery locations.
This role is ideal for experienced CRNAs seeking consistent full-time coverage, complex case exposure, and a collaborative medically directed anesthesia care model. Providers will work alongside a well-established team of anesthesia professionals in a high-volume surgical setting delivering comprehensive perioperative care across multiple specialties.
Job Responsibilities
β’ Provide anesthesia services within a medically directed anesthesia care team
β’ Conduct pre-operative assessments and anesthesia planning
β’ Administer and monitor anesthesia for a wide range of surgical procedures
β’ Manage post-anesthesia patient recovery and monitoring
β’ Document clinical care using EPIC electronic medical records
β’ Support anesthesia services across multiple hospital and ambulatory surgery locations
Qualifications
β’ Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
β’ Minimum 3+ years of anesthesia experience required
β’ Active South Carolina license or license in process
β’ EPIC EMR proficiency required
β’ Ability to provide full-time locum coverage for a minimum 3-month assignment
β’ Must meet facility distance requirements (60+ miles from facility location)
Working Hours
Flexible Schedule
13.5-hour shifts including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break
Shift options may include:
β’ 6:00 AM β 7:30 PM
β’ 8:00 AM β 9:30 PM
Weekend shifts may be required based on scheduling needs.
