Position Overview

A community hospital in South-Central Pennsylvania is seeking a Locum Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to support a busy surgical program in a medically directed anesthesia model.

Facility Overview

  • 150-bed acute care hospital

  • Level III Trauma Center

  • EMR: Epic

  • Daily Staffing: 1 MD + 4 CRNAs

Case Mix

  • ~4,300 annual cases

  • Orthopedics

  • Endoscopy

  • Regional blocks

  • TEE

  • No OB

Schedule

  • Monday – Friday

  • 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Call Structure

  • Beeper call required

  • 1–2 weekdays per week

  • 1–2 weekends per month

Required Qualifications

  • Active Pennsylvania CRNA license

  • Active DEA registration

  • ACLS and BLS certification

  • Minimum 1–2 years clinical anesthesia experience

  • Ability to participate in call coverage

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using Epic EMR

  • Experience with regional anesthesia and nerve blocks

  • Prior community hospital anesthesia experience

  • Safe administration of anesthesia

  • Regional anesthesia and nerve block techniques

  • Patient monitoring and perioperative care

  • Airway management

  • Collaboration with anesthesiologists and surgical teams

  • Effective communication in high-acuity surgical environments

Compensation & Benefits

  • $190–$220 per hour

  • Travel and lodging support available
