Float position between Clare, Gladwin, and West Branch, Michigan

Independent CRNA practice model
Schedule
-
One to two business days for orientation and proctoring
-
Monday–Friday schedule
-
8-hour shifts: 6:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Call Responsibilities
-
Call primarily based in Clare
-
No OB call
-
1-hour response time for Clare call
-
Call rotation approximately 1:3
-
One to two holidays per year
-
Weeknight call: until 11:00 p.m.
-
Weekend call: 7:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m.
Cases and Procedures
-
Bread-and-butter cases and scopes
-
Laparoscopic abdominal procedures
-
Ophthalmology (cataracts)
-
Podiatry (approximately 4 days per month)
-
Orthopedics (half day per month; includes blocks)
-
Vascular procedures (occasionally, about 1 day per month)
-
Cardiology (TEEs and cardioversions)
-
General anesthetics, MAC, and regional anesthesia
-
Blocks optional (training available if refresh needed)
-
Ward and Emergency Department support (IV access, airway access, provider support)

GI cases performed only at the Gladwin location
Patient Mix

Inpatient: 10–20%

Outpatient: 80–90%

Requirements
-
Active Michigan CRNA license required
-
ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications
-
Must demonstrate providing CRNA services for at least 75 patients within the past 12 months
Credentialing
-
Typically about 30 days
-
Applications prioritized based on start date
