• Inpatient hospital-based anesthesia practice

Job Responsibilities
• Provide anesthesia care to patients of all ages and ASA classifications
• Perform comprehensive pre-anesthesia assessments
• Develop and implement individualized anesthesia care plans
• Monitor patients intraoperatively and postoperatively
• Provide airway management services throughout the hospital
• Respond to anesthesia-related emergencies
• Participate in weekend call coverage rotations
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff
• Document all care accurately in EPIC EMR
• Participate in flexible self-scheduled shift coverage
Qualifications
• Active Michigan RN License – REQUIRED (in hand at presentation)
• ACLS – REQUIRED
• BLS – REQUIRED
• CRNA work experience required (no new graduates)
• Clean Malpractice & License History – REQUIRED
• Willingness to work varied shifts, weekends, and on-call – REQUIRED
• DEA (required prior to start)
• CSR/CDS (required prior to start)
• Not accepting candidates commuting more than 1 hour
• Not accepting alternate shift schedule requests
Working Hours
• 40 hours per week total
• Weekend call coverage Friday 7:00 PM – Monday 7:00 AM
• Weekend call in 12-hour blocks (once every 6-week rotation)
Skills
• OB and surgical anesthesia experience
• Strong airway management skills
• Emergency response capability
• Independent clinical judgment
• Team collaboration in hospital-based setting
