Opportunity:
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - Anesthesia
Job Details:
• Provide anesthesia care in collaboration with surgeons and anesthesia care team across multiple outpatient surgical specialties
• Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and develop individualized anesthesia care plans
• Administer anesthesia (general, regional, or monitored anesthesia care) to patients of all ages and A.S.A. classes, including geriatrics and pediatrics
• Monitor patients during procedures and manage any anesthesia-related complications
• Provide post-anesthesia care and pain management services
• Handle variety of surgical cases including total hips and knees, plastic surgery, sports medicine, orthopedics, urology, gynecology, ophthalmology, podiatry, dental, pediatrics, endoscopy, and general surgery
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
• Travel to other ambulatory sites when needed
• Work harmoniously with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare providers
• Must be Board Certified CRNA with active Michigan RN License
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years CRNA work experience required (not including RN or training)
• Clean malpractice and license history required
• DEA and CSR/CDS must be obtained prior to start
• No on-call responsibilities
• Full-time position with no weekend requirements
