Facility:
This facility is a well-established hospital with a busy surgical department featuring 24+ operating rooms. The medical center provides comprehensive surgical services and is designated as a Level 1 trauma center, offering providers an opportunity to work in a high-volume, diverse clinical setting with strong support staff.
Opportunity:
Advanced Practice (CRNA) - Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Job Details:
• Full-time availability required - must be able to work 5 eight-hour shifts or 4 ten-hour shifts, 3-4 weeks per month
• Active Pennsylvania license required
• Supervised position working alongside anesthesiologists
• Coverage for various surgical services including complex orthopedic, vascular, neurosurgical, thoracic, head/spine, and pediatric cases
• No open heart cases, but experience with mitral clips and watchmans is needed
• Experience with healthy pediatric patients required (no neonatal)
• No OB cases
• Proficiency in general anesthesia, spinal anesthesia, epidural anesthesia, and regional anesthesia
• Experience with ventilation management and evaluation/management of acute volume/BP issues
• Skills in central line, arterial line, and PA catheter placement preferred
• Schedule is Monday through Friday with no night/weekend call
• Overtime applied after 40 hours worked per week
• Support staff includes Anesthesia Techs and SCAs
• Both inpatient and outpatient cases
• CRNA certification required
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 90 days
