CRNA Job Details – Austin, TX Healthcare Jobs
- Assignment Type: Locum tenens CRNA contract position
- Location: Multiple Austin, Texas healthcare facilities
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: December 31, 2026
- Contract Duration: 13–26 weeks, with extension opportunities
- Shift Duration: 8,10,12,16 hour shifts available; evening shifts available (11a–11p or 3p–11p)
- Weekly Hours: 36-40
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $7200- $8000
- Stipends paid for travel and lodging
- Practice Setting: General, neuro, orthopedic, and OB anesthesia cases
- Charting Systems: iPro, Cerner
- MD Supervision: Yes (1 MD to 4 CRNAs)
CRNA Qualifications – Austin, Texas Nursing Jobs
- Active Texas registered nurse license
- Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program
- Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as a CRNA
- Ability to work across multiple Austin healthcare facilities and adapt to diverse clinical environments
CRNA Responsibilities – Locum Tenens Healthcare Jobs
- Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and verify patient consent
- Discuss anesthetic options and risks with patients
- Induce, maintain, and emerge patients from anesthesia for general, neuro, orthopedic, and OB cases
- Monitor patients’ physiological condition throughout procedures
- Perform clinical interventions as needed
- Collaborate closely with supervising MDs and the anesthesia care team
