CRNA Job Details – Austin, TX Healthcare Jobs

• Assignment Type: Locum tenens CRNA contract position
• Location: Multiple Austin, Texas healthcare facilities
• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: December 31, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13–26 weeks, with extension opportunities
• Shift Duration: 8,10,12,16 hour shifts available; evening shifts available (11a–11p or 3p–11p)
• Weekly Hours: 36-40
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $7200- $8000
• Stipends paid for travel and lodging
• Practice Setting: General, neuro, orthopedic, and OB anesthesia cases
• Charting Systems: iPro, Cerner
• MD Supervision: Yes (1 MD to 4 CRNAs)

CRNA Qualifications – Austin, Texas Nursing Jobs

• Active Texas registered nurse license
• Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program
• Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as a CRNA
• Ability to work across multiple Austin healthcare facilities and adapt to diverse clinical environments

CRNA Responsibilities – Locum Tenens Healthcare Jobs

• Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and verify patient consent
• Discuss anesthetic options and risks with patients
• Induce, maintain, and emerge patients from anesthesia for general, neuro, orthopedic, and OB cases
• Monitor patients’ physiological condition throughout procedures
• Perform clinical interventions as needed
• Collaborate closely with supervising MDs and the anesthesia care team
