CRNA Job Details – Simpsonville, SC

• Location: Simpsonville, SC 29681 – South Carolina nursing jobs in a welcoming community with easy access to Greenville.
• Employment Type: Locum tenens CRNA contract (travel healthcare job)
• Assignment Duration: 26 weeks (March 16, 2026 – September 14, 2026)
• Schedule: 4x10-hour day shifts (7:00am – 5:00pm) or 5x8-hour day shifts (7:00am – 3:00pm)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Call Requirements: Home call once every 2 weeks; average call is once a week, including weeknight home call (3pm–7am) and 24-hour weekend call. Post-call days typically off.
• Patient Volume: Approximately 200 patients; ages 15–100
• Support Staff: One anesthesia technician
• EMR System: Epic
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $8,110 – $8,550

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist Qualifications

• Active South Carolina CRNA license required
• Board Certification (NBCRNA) mandatory
• Minimum 1 year of recent CRNA experience in a clinical or hospital setting
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Clean background and malpractice history
• Mandatory flu vaccine (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred

CRNA Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for general, OB/GYN, ENT, and orthopedic procedures
• Operate anesthesia equipment and follow best practices for patient safety
• Participate in rotating call schedule, including home call and 24-hour weekend coverage
• Collaborate with anesthesia technician and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals
• Document procedures and patient interactions using Epic EMR
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and healthcare regulatory requirements
