Facility:
This is a modern 250-bed regional medical center with an ambulatory surgery center that provides comprehensive healthcare services to southern New Mexico. The facility offers advanced surgical capabilities across multiple specialties and is committed to delivering high-quality patient care in a supportive professional environment.
Opportunity:
Advanced Practice (CRNA) - Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Job Details:
• Provide anesthesia services for approximately 4 patient encounters per shift
• Must be enrolled in the NM Patient Compensation Fund (PCF) - this is critical for consideration
• Board-certified with at least one year of experience required
•Perform general anesthesia for adult and pediatric patients
• Administer spinal and epidural anesthesia for various surgical procedures
• Experience with neurosurgical cases (particularly spine) and complex orthopedic cases required
• Experience with regional anesthesia, obstetrical cases, and pain management techniques preferred
• Must be comfortable practicing independently and performing regional blocks with demonstrated experience (case logs required)
• Experience with ventilation management and evaluation of acute volume/BP issues required
• Central line and arterial line placement skills preferred
• Ultrasound guided regional blocks and pediatric dentistry experience is a plus
• Must maintain current certifications: ACLS, PALS, and BLS
• Active New Mexico license required (or in process of reactivation)
• Provider must live 90+ miles from the facility
• Must be willing to work weekends and take call
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 90 days
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included. Paid Travel and Lodging.
