Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) – Locum Opportunity
Location: Northeast, PA
Start Date: (as soon as credentialed)
Shift: 8, 10, 12 and 16-hour shifts available, Monday- Friday
No call
Overview
An acute care hospital in northeast PA is seeking experienced CRNAs for ongoing locum coverage. This opportunity offers exposure to a variety of surgical cases in a medically supervised care team model. CRNAs must be able to handle high-acuity patients and work collaboratively with supervising physicians.
Responsibilities
- Deliver anesthesia care under medical supervision
- Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and obtain patient consent
- Discuss anesthetic options and risks with patients
- Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitor patient physiological condition throughout procedures
- Provide clinical interventions as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of CRNA experience
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Active Pennsylvania license required
- Credentialing timeframe: 45–60 days
Facility Details
- Level II Trauma Center
- 14 ORs plus EP and Endo
- Medical supervision
- Case types include: general, ENT, OB. No transplants or sick peds
- EPIC EMR system
