Job description
We are seeking experienced CRNAs for a locum opportunity with a large, well-established academic medical center in central Massachusetts. This is a medically supervised ACT practice (no AAs) offering flexible, nontraditional shift options and no call requirements. Providers will work across multiple hospitals and ambulatory sites within one integrated system, with broad case exposure and strong team support.
This opportunity is ideal for CRNAs seeking schedule flexibility, high-acuity experience, and a collaborative academic environment.
Job Responsibilities
Deliver anesthesia services across hospital and ambulatory settings
Participate in general, trauma, ENT, orthopedic, neuro, transplant, and cardiac cases (case mix varies by site)
Work collaboratively with anesthesiologists, CRNAs, and surgical teams
Utilize Epic EMR for documentation
Qualifications
Board certified
Massachusetts license preferred (open to candidates willing to obtain)
Comfortable practicing in a medically supervised, high-acuity academic environment
Experience across multiple case types and clinical settings preferred
Working Hours
24/7 operation with flexible scheduling
Shift options include 12-hour, 16-hour, 18-hour, and 24-hour shifts
Flexible start and end times
Typical daily staffing includes 8–12 CRNAs across sites
Skills
Trauma and high-acuity case exposure
Orthopedics, ENT, neuro, and transplant experience
Ability to work efficiently across multiple sites
Proficiency with Epic EMR
Strong teamwork and communication skills
