Job description
We are seeking an experienced CRNA for a locum tenens opportunity providing scheduled clinic coverage with call responsibilities. This role offers a balanced case mix in a supervised practice model, covering multiple operating rooms with a predictable workflow and limited call-back volume. Ideal for a CRNA comfortable in a team-based hospital setting without high-acuity subspecialty cases.
Job Responsibilities
Cover up to 4 operating rooms under supervision
Participate in call coverage for assigned patients only
Manage anesthesia for adult surgical patients
Perform spinal and epidural anesthesia as required
Place and manage lines, vents, and PA catheters
Provide post-operative pain management and blocks
Collaborate with anesthesia leadership, surgeons, and nursing staff
Ensure compliance with all clinical, safety, and documentation standards
Qualifications
Current ACLS and BLS certifications
Experience with adult anesthesia cases
Comfortable working in a supervised anesthesia model
Ability to manage complex orthopedic, vascular, and spine cases
Working Hours
Average of 25 patients per shift
24-hour beeper call rotation (1:5)
Call is for assigned patients only
Approximate callback rate: 10%
Average of 1–2 patient calls per shift
