Join a Premier Anesthesia Team as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in Southwest Georgia!
This ongoing locum opportunity offers flexible daytime schedules supporting a busy surgical hospital, providing anesthesia for a diverse caseload in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Collaboration with physicians and surgical teams is essential to ensure optimal patient care. With a focus on quality, you will work with modern EMR systems and support a high volume of cases across multiple specialties. This role provides a competitive hourly rate, with no travel expenses covered; candidates must reside within 75 miles of the facility.Job Responsibilities
• Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and develop anesthesia plans.
• Monitor patients intraoperatively and manage post-anesthesia care.
• Utilize ultrasound for regional blocks (if available).
• Complete accurate documentation in EPIC.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with surgical and nursing teams for optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications
• Board Certification by NBCRNA
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Proven experience in hospitalist or surgical anesthesia (preferably in hospital-based settings)
• Ability to work collaboratively with medical teams and support staff
• Residence within 75 miles of the facility, as travel expenses are not reimbursed
• Comfortable with documentation in EPIC EMR
Working Hours
• Mon - Fri: 8s, 10s, 12s available
• Sat - Sun: Call only
Skills
• Minimum 2+ years of anesthesia practice in hospital settings
• Prior experience with diverse surgical cases and outpatient procedures
