CRNA Qualifications

  • Current Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) board certification
  • Active North Carolina RN license and CRNA licensure
  • Minimum 1-2 years of recent CRNA experience in hospital or acute care settings (no new graduates)
  • Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced hospital environment
  • Credentialing timeframe: 60-90 days

CRNA Responsibilities

  • Administer anesthesia for a wide range of surgical procedures: general, orthopedic, vascular, urology, gynecology, bariatrics, and robotics
  • Deliver patient care for individuals age 12 and up, and all ages at select locations
  • Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and clinical support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Utilize EPIC EMR, Drager anesthesia machines, and Philips monitoring equipment
  • Participate in optional call coverage as desired
