CRNA Job Details:

• Duration: 17 weeks
• Shifts: 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts available, based on team needs
• Shifts per Week: 5
• Hours per Week: 36
  
• Call Requirement: Open to weeknight and/or weekend call (1:10 rotation)

CRNA Qualifications:

• Active Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification
• Eligible for CRNA licensure in Virginia
• Minimum 1 year of CRNA experience in an acute care or hospital setting
• Proficiency in general anesthesia, spinal anesthesia, epidural anesthesia, and regional anesthesia techniques
• Experience with adult anesthesia cases required; pediatric anesthesia experience preferred
• Ability to manage ventilation and perform insertion of central and/or arterial lines
• Willingness to participate in call rotation

CRNA Responsibilities:

• Administer general, spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia for a variety of surgical procedures, including orthopedic, spine, vascular (excluding open heart), neurosurgical (spine), complex orthopedic, and obstetrical cases
• Provide anesthesia care primarily for adult patients; pediatric anesthesia cases preferred but not required
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure safe, effective patient care
• Conduct preoperative assessments and deliver postoperative anesthesia care as needed
• Manage ventilation and perform insertion of central and/or arterial lines
• Participate in weeknight and/or weekend call rotation (1:10)
