Job description START DATE: ASAP | As soon as credentialed (90-120 days)

ASSIGNMENT LENGTH: Ongoing coverage needs

SCHEDULE: 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts | Includes weekday and weekend coverage | On-call required for OB (in-house and remote)

WORKSITE SETTING: Hospital | Inpatient

VOLUME & SUPPORT:
  • Annual Case Volume:
    • Inpatient: 2,671 | Outpatient: 4,116 | OB: 1,181
    • Endoscopy: 3,565 | Peds: 1,536
    • Ortho: General (501 IP, 154 OP), Spine (25 IP, 9 OP), Joints (139 IP, 56 OP)
    • Neuro: 511 IP, 351 OP | ENT: 97 IP, 356 OP
    • GYN: 175 IP, 891 OP | Pain Mgmt: 804 OP
  • Support: Full anesthesia team with MDs and CRNAs; subspecialty coverage for OB, Peds, Bariatric
EMR: EPIC
  • Licensure: Only accepting candidates with active GA licenses | Will not accept candidates who need to obtain a GA license
  • All-inclusive rate: Only covers hours worked
  • DEA: CRNAs are not required to have a DEA to work at this site
  • Travel is not reimbursed

Job Responsibilities

SCOPE OF WORK: Provide anesthesia care for a wide range of surgical cases including OB, Pediatrics, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Neuro, ENT, GI, and more. CRNAs will work under medical direction of anesthesiologists and participate in OB coverage and call rotations

Qualifications

LICENSURES | CERTIFICATIONS | REQUIREMENTS: Must have active GA license | Active GA APRN License | Board Certified - NBCRNA | Must live within a 75mi radius from site | ACLS, BLS, PALS

Working Hours

SCHEDULE & COVERAGE: 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts | Includes weekday and weekend coverage | On-call required for OB (in-house and remote)

Weekdays:
7:00a–3:00p: 14 CRNAs
3:00p–5:00p: 7 CRNAs
5:00p–7:00p: 5 CRNAs
7:00p–7:00a: 1 In-house OB, 1 Remote Call

Weekends:
7:00a–5:00p: 3 CRNAs
5:00p–7:00a: 1 In-house OB, 1 Remote Call

Skills

CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Administer anesthesia for surgical procedures across multiple specialties
- OB coverage including labor epidurals
- Participate in call rotations
- Work under medical direction of anesthesiologists

ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
- Collaborate with surgical and nursing teams
- Complete documentation in EPIC
- Attend required orientation and EMR training
