Job description
Exciting new opening in Northwestern New York for ongoing locum CRNA coverage. They are offering 3–6-month contracts with options to extend.
- Hybrid model which would have 1 attending to 3 CRNA’s.
- Schedule: 7a - 7p OR 7a - 5p Monday-Friday
- Only offering 10's or 12's to start. All scheduled hours are guaranteed
- Weekends only available for at-home call.
- Attending has 30 min to respond to call, so the CRNA needs to be confident and autonomous. They may be working without MD supervision for those full 30 minutes.
- Emergent intubations, codes, AAA, c-sections
- Epidurals, purple blocks at attendings preference
- No trauma (Not a trauma center)
- General Surgery, Ortho, Neuro, Vascular, EP/Pacemaker, Cardiac (not required, only on request), healthy peds, OB.
- If there is a case type the provider doesn't have a ton of experience in, but is willing to learn, they will train.
- Epidurals, purple blocks, competent in airway and regional skills, able to put in spinal block.
- EMR: EPIC
- LOA: 6m
- Start date: As soon as credentialing is complete
- Credentialing: 45 - 50 days
- Experience: Strongly prefer candidates with 3-4 years of experience in an inpatient setting. Someone confident, independent who can roll with the punches.
- OR Breakdown: 30 OR’s total
- Main OR: 21
- C-section OR: 2
- Cardiac OR: 3
- There is also a legacy OR(trauma), cath lab, EP and biplane.
- Pt. Vol: 1700 deliveries per year. Very busy OR.
- Payrate: $240/hr
