Job description
Locums CRNA role in Michigan with a predictable weekday schedule and no call. Solo coverage with a bread and butter case mix across outpatient and inpatient settings.
Highlights
- No call coverage required
- Monday to Friday schedule, 8 hour shifts, 40 hours per week
- Long term need with a quick start and fast credentialing
- Average volume of 4 to 8 cases per day
Practice Setting
- Solo CRNA coverage
- Case setting mix, 70 percent outpatient and 30 percent inpatient
- Support team includes anesthesia techs, nurses, scrub techs, and pre op and PACU nurses
- Adult patient population
Schedule
- Weekday coverage, Monday through Friday
- Scheduled hours are 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
- Start includes an orientation, then clinical start immediately after
- Coverage is needed long term, with likelihood to extend
Cases and Procedures
- General surgery, orthopedics, urology, OB and GYN, cataracts, endoscopies, vascular, and pulmonary
- No hearts and no heads
- Must be comfortable with spinals, epidurals, venous catheters, and arterial catheters
- Blocks preferred, not required
Requirements
- Must be a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
- NBCRNA certification, board certified
- Active Michigan license required, will not wait for license
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
- Case logs, 75 within the last 12 months
