Schedule: Full-Time Coverage | 13-Hour Shifts

We are seeking an experienced Pediatric CRNA for a locum tenens opportunity providing medically directed anesthesia services in a pediatric hospital setting. The position offers exposure to a variety of pediatric surgical and procedural cases in an academic environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide medically directed anesthesia care for pediatric patients.
• Manage approximately 3–5 cases per day.
• Provide anesthesia for pediatric cases including:
  • Gastroenterology (GI)
  • Ophthalmology
  • Plastic Surgery
  • Dental
• Provide anesthesia coverage in operating rooms and non-operating room locations.
• Non-operating room sites may include:
  • CT
  • MRI
  • Nuclear Medicine
  • Radiation Oncology
  • Hematology-Oncology Procedure Room
• Work collaboratively with the anesthesia care team.
• Provide coverage in a pediatric academic medical center environment.
• Document patient care using Epic EMR.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of pediatric anesthesia experience required.
• Active South Carolina CRNA license required.
• Must be proficient in Epic EMR.
• Must be available for full-time coverage.
• Prior locum/travel experience preferred.
• Candidates must meet the required locum radius criteria.
• Academic medical center experience is not required.
• Experience with pediatric patients is essential.

Working Hours

• Full-time coverage
• 13-hour shifts
• 0.5-hour unpaid lunch
• Schedule to be determined
• No overnight call required
