Established in 1980, Mountain Emergency Physicians, is a local, independent group with a history of staffing ED’s, Hospitalist Programs and Urgent Cares in the Hickory/Statesville/Lake Norman/Lenoir areas of Western North Carolina. MEP serves Frye Regional Medical Center and UNC Caldwell. Becoming a part of MEP means joining a vibrant community where your input is not only welcomed but essential.
