Company History
Eagle Telemedicine was founded in 2008 as a pioneer in inpatient telemedicine, focusing on connecting rural hospitals with specialists to improve care for underserved areas, especially for acute conditions like stroke. Initially part of Eagle Hospital Physicians, it spun off in 2017 to focus solely on expanding its virtual doctor services, leveraging technology for remote monitoring and creating its own platform to support physicians and reduce burnout, becoming a leader in providing critical care access. In 2021, the company achieved Joint Commission accreditation for telehealth services, highlighting its commitment to quality, security, and streamlined operations.
