Company Information
Cottage Health is a not-for-profit health system that has provided comprehensive care across California’s Central Coast since 1891. For 135 years, Cottage has grown alongside the region, expanding its services to meet the evolving needs of the communities it serves.
Today, Cottage Health includes Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital, a 500-plus-bed acute care teaching hospital and regional referral center; Goleta Valley Cottage Hospital, a 50-plus-bed acute care hospital; and Santa Ynez Valley Cottage Hospital, an 11-bed critical access hospital serving the Santa Ynez Valley.
Clinical capabilities include the region’s Level I Adult Trauma Center and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center, comprehensive stroke care and STEMI receiving center services.
Beyond hospital care, Cottage Health serves the community through urgent care centers, outpatient services, rehabilitation, virtual care, research and innovation, medical education and community health programs.
