WellCraft Health is a medical practice that was designed for the needs of BOTH patients and Medical Professionals. We are known for custom crafted, premium quality medical care at an affordable price.
Patients want an experienced physician or advanced practitioner they can count on, that is accessible, that can easily be scheduled with, that they can trust and talk to, that will actively work with them, and have their best interests at heart.
Today's medical system has many physicians and experienced advanced practitioners are frustrated with long hours, crammed schedules, rushed medical visits, excessively cumbersome administrative busywork, and hours of after visit documentation and care coordination. Your daily schedule may be filled with 24 to 30 patients per day - or more. At WellCraft Health, your daily patient schedule may run 12 to 16 patients per day. Some days are less. AND your time spent with patient documentation and care coordination is 50% LESS.
Physicians and Advanced Practitioners want to be able to provide more professional time and attention to their patients, have more control over their schedule, less aggravation with administrative tasks, great relations with their patients and staff, better work & life balance, and a great income.
WellCraft Health achieves ALL of our goals by contracting directly with our patients. Although 98% of our patients have health insurance, they CHOOSE to contract with us for better medical care and more responsive service.
Our #1 goal for 2025/2026 is to employ One Family Physician or Two Advanced Practitioners with a path to Partnership for greater company input and earnings. We are at capacity and have more prospective clients desiring to enroll. Our #2 goal is to be able to offer 4 day work weeks and three day weekends to enjoy the activities of the beautful Lake Gaston NC area or to be able to explore all the great things to do in NC, VA, and SC with 3 day getaway weekends.
We have wonderful clients, an excellent working environment, and proximity to attractions and events. What's not to like? Dr Carol Rupe is a well liked and well known family physician, and is great to work with.

Where has the Medical System gone wrong?
As medical systems become larger and more automated, medical care becomes more restrictive and standardized, more of a process with its emphasis on coding, production, and billing - and becoming ever more dependent upon health insurance payer mix and contracting. Company History
We celebrated our 5th Anniversary in July, 2025. WellCraft Health is at capacity, and we are looking for prospective family physician and advanced practitioner partners to help write the next chapter in the history of WellCraft Health.
Two years ago, WellCraft Health had to turn down a $460,000 contracting opportunity with an international corporation based in Roanoke Rapids . We did not have enough capacity to implement a health program for their employees. Out of the areas much larger medical groups, the company wanted WellCraft Health.
This March, WellCraft Health was invited to participate in a developing national IPO for a ready built medical system, including primary care offices, specialty offices, lab work and diagnostic testing companies - an entire system. Our projected valuation was $1.4M. In May, I turned the offer down. The prototype we are building here can easily be worth $3 M to $5M in three to five years. The demand is here and the WellCraft Health medical service delivery model is applicable nationwide. THE MISSING INGREDIENT IS YOU. Your talent, drive, passion and true love for your patients AND the mission of family medicine primary care.
Our goal within the next FIVE years to grow to eight medical professionals and open a second location. This will prove to financial executives that the WellCraft Health model can be implemented almost anywhere, is replicatable, and scalable. The next step thereafter is to either go public or fanchise. ALL of our medical professionals will not only profit, but form the leadership core for WellCraft Health's future.
Dr. Carol Rupe is presently WellCraft Health's only physician. She graduated from the University of Notre Dame, Indiana and received her doctorate from Georgetown Medical School, Washington, DC. Dr Rupe is a former United States Air Force medical officer and family practice residency instructor at Andrews Air Force Base in Suitland, Maryland.
After her ten years in the USAF, Dr Rupe founded three prior medical businesses in Charlotte, NC. Two of the businesses were traditional, insurance driven medical practices. The first business was a traditional, insurance driven family medical practice, in a clinical setting, that had employed four nurse practitioners or physician assistants. The second business involved Medical Director ships for four nursing homes, two assisted living centers, and a home health agency. Dr Rupe's third business, a medical legal consulting company, established Dr. Rupe as a national expert in family medicine, women's health, and senior health.
