Ridgecrest Regional Hospital (RRH) has earned recognition from the American Medical Association (AMA) as a Joy in Medicine™ recognized organization - Read Article. RRH is a non-profit, full-service, Critical Access Hospital with 25 inpatient beds, a 99-bed skilled nursing facility, two rural health clinics, and other outpatient services.
Ridgecrest is a family-friendly community of 30,000 in the desert of central Southern California, far from the traffic and commotion of LA. Home of the China Lake Naval Air Weapons Station, it is near the Sierra Mountains and full of natural wonders, outdoor activities, and sunshine. RRH offers multi-specialty healthcare and has state-of-the-art facilities. The Emergency Department is a designated Level IV trauma center and is staffed with Emergency Medicine Board Certified physicians. RRH owns Liberty Ambulance which has multiple EMS rigs and a helicopter in the area.
