Rheumatology Physician opportunity near Lexington Kentucky! The Hospital has a level three trauma center that sees 30,000 ED visits annually. The Hospital has a robust Hospitalist Department for Physicians who want to focus on 100% outpatient practice . Recruitment of a Rheumatology is due to a strong community need and to support the hospital’s medical staff. The community currently has one Physician who practices one day a month in the community thus causing patients to travel to metropolitan areas to seek Rheumatology care. You can expect to work a four to five day week in an out-patient setting. You can expect to build a busy practice quickly and see up to 35 plus patient visits per day. You will receive a very generous guaranteed salary in year one, and move to base plus productivity in year two. There is no cap to potential income.
