MULTIPLE ACADEMIC NEUROLOGY POSITIONS
We are proud to partner with this state-of-the-art academic medical center to grow their Neuroscience service line within the Department of Neurology. Your practice will be in the Spine and Neurosciences Institute which is the leading tertiary referral center in the state. There is ample opportunity for leadership, research and growth, making these lucrative positions for the right candidates.
MOVEMENT DISORDERS
- Join our team of 2 movement disorder physicians and lead and grow this regional program
- Partner with a neurosurgeon whose clinical practice focuses on neuromodulation, treating movement disorders, spasticity, and chronic pain through surgical procedures and stereotactic radiosurgery using the Gamma Knife
- These surgeries include DBS for Parkinson s disease (1-2 per week), essential tremor, and dystonia, spinal cord stimulation, intrathecal drug therapy, surgery for trigeminal neuralgia, and more
- The entire 5th floor is dedicated to movement disorders, including your outpatient practice, Gait lab and the movement neurosurgeons clinic as well
NEUROMUSCULAR
- Very busy neuromuscular practice
- Home to one of the world’s best neuromuscular programs, including a Muscular Dystrophy Association ALS Research Center.
- World-class experts in every neuromuscular specialty and subspecialty, as well as active research programs in both the clinical and basic science aspects of neuromuscular disorders and diseases.
STROKE and STROKE DIRECTOR
- Seeking to add 2 vascular neurologists to join this established clinical stroke program with primary stroke certification from the Joint Commissions.
- We have one of the largest and best developed telestroke programs in the nation
- 24/7/365 interventional neuroradiology support and neurosurgery care
- Seeking experienced Stroke Director with experience setting up a comprehensive stroke centerand proven ability to get research funding
CRITICAL CARE
- New Critical Care Team
- Open to ideas to structure a block schedule—considering 1 week 24/7 neurocritical care coverage, 1 week off, 1 week helping during the day for the NeuroICU lead and 1 week as the daytime neuro-hospitalist
