Medical Doctor Associates ( MDA ) is seeking an Emergency Physician for an ongoing locum tenens assignment in Northern AZ. Requirements: Must be Board Certified Residency trained. Candidates just graduating residency may be board eligible ONLY.
The annual volume is 25K. Shifts are 8A - 8P and 8P - 8A with mid level coverage during the day. Single coverage at night. Busy ER with high acuity, remote location. Any unrestricted license may apply. No loss of license or suspension of license. No lapse in practice greater than six ( 6 ) months. Need to commit to a minimum of five ( 5 ) shifts per month or more. Must have a valid , unrestricted DEA . Will need BLS, ACLS, ATLS and PALS. CT scan operates 8 - 12 hours a day, the remainder is on call. NO MRI. Nearest airports Flagstaff, Durango and ABQ this is a 3 hour drive to remote site.
Current needs: November 11 - 16 days, November 23 - 25 nights, November 29 - December 4 nights, December 31 - Jan 4 days, Jan 1 - 6 nights, and Jan 20 - 23 nights.
