Anesthesiologist - Pain Management - (Anesthesiology - Pain Management) Locum Tenens

The Provider will need to provide proof of their DEA (PA State), BLS, ACLS, and have EMR experience. The provider MUST be board certified, with any US State license, full and unrestricted. The Physician shall provide primary coverage for all patients in surgical intensive care, short stay unit, acute and chronic pain management services, diagnostic trans esophageal echocardiography for medical and surgical patients, and emergency airway management. The Physician will provide clinic and surgical care-undergoing general surgery, orthopedic, including joint replacement, plastic, ENT, urologic, podiatric, minor, vascular, dental/oral and ophthalmologic operations. VA experience is preferred, however not required. The schedule is expected to be Monday-Friday, from 7:00AM-3:30PM, weekdays. No call or OT expected in the 40 hour work week.

Pain management anesthesiologists (locum tenens) meet with patients in a preoperative setting to determine the best and safest course of action for pain management during the medical procedure and afterwards. They evaluate the patient's medical history, and special requirements in order to come up with the optimal course of action. During medical procedures, anesthesiologists monitor heart rate, blood pressure and other bodily functions and administer appropriate anesthesia. An anesthesiologist focuses on pain management to help patients feel comfortable before and after surgery.
