Clinic is seeking a PA/NP to join their neuroscience group. The incoming PA/NP will join 4 other Neurosurgery PA/NP's. The facility does have flexibility in scheduling, most shifts are 24 hours, OR-only shifts are 8 hours. The PAs are scheduled three 24 hour shifts plus one 8 hour OR shift in a two week period, the incoming PA can be flexible in scheduling their exact days they work as call is shared with the other PAs in the practice. The incoming PA will have first-assists duties in the OR, will facilitate ER and inpatient consults, as well as have daily floor and ICU rounds, H & P’s, and discharge summaries. The facility is seeking a candidate with experience performing invasive procedures such as arterial lines, ventriculostomy, and ICP monitoring. DMC’s Brain and Spine Institute offers advanced surgical and non-surgical treatments such as MIS, DBS, spinal cord stimulator implants, and features dedicated Neuro-Critical Care and Neuro step-down units. The facility is located in the northern California central valley and is a 465 bed level II trauma center, and is also one of the region’s only designated stroke centers. The facility will offer a competitive compensation plan including sign-on bonus, full benefit package, and relocation assistance. The salary will be based on experience, for an experienced neurosurgery PA it will start in the $160-170k range. New grads with surgery rotations will be considered.
