Join Our Team as a Locum Physician in Wound Care - Batavia, OH

Are you a dedicated Wound Care specialist seeking a flexible, rewarding opportunity to make a difference? We are currently seeking a qualified Locum Physician to provide expert wound management services at a reputable outpatient facility in Batavia, Ohio. This role offers an excellent chance to contribute your skills while gaining valuable experience in a dynamic healthcare environment. Your expertise will help improve patient outcomes and foster healing for individuals with complex wounds.

Required Skills:
  • Board-certified or eligible in qualified medical specialties (e.g., General Surgery, Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Wound Care)
  • Proven experience in wound assessment and management, including treatment of vascular, pressure, diabetic, and traumatic wounds
  • Strong knowledge of wound care procedures and therapies such as debridement, skin grafting, and hyperbaric oxygen therapy
  • Ability to educate patients and support systems on wound prevention and care techniques
  • Excellent documentation skills and familiarity with EMR systems, especially Epic
  • Compassionate patient communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with hyperbaric oxygen therapy supervision
  • Skill in managing complex or non-healing surgical wounds
  • Additional certifications in wound care or hyperbaric medicine

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
  • Active medical license in Ohio
  • Prior locum or outpatient clinic experience preferred, with ability to work independently for extended periods

Other Requirements:
  • Certification in basic life support (BLS) andAdvanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • Ability to work covering a period between 12/22/2025 and 3/31/2026
  • Willingness to travel and support facility reimbursements for travel and housing expenses
  • Temporary privileging may be available
