🔎 Description:
Seeking a dedicated Wound Care specialist for an outpatient clinic role providing expert evaluation and treatment for a wide range of acute and chronic wounds. Flexible schedule and strong clinical support environment.
Job Responsibilities
• Manage and treat vascular, diabetic, pressure & traumatic ulcers
• Assess and treat draining wounds & fistulae
• Apply wound dressings & topical therapies
• Educate patients and caregivers on wound care & prevention
• Perform hyperbaric oxygen therapy supervision
• Provide comprehensive wound healing strategies and follow-up care
Qualifications
• Active OH Medical License – Required
• BLS – Required
• ACLS preferred (for HBO)
• Previous Wound Care or related specialty experience preferred
Working Hours
• Monday–Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
• Flexibility for candidates available Mon/Thu/Fri
Skills
• Advanced wound assessment
• Debridement & grafting familiarity
• Knowledge of wound prevention protocols
• Patient-focused communication
• Accurate EMR documentation (Epic)
