👩‍⚕️ Clinical Responsibilities

You will provide full-spectrum wound care, including:

• Treating skin reactions & preventing skin breakdown

• Managing vascular, pressure, and diabetic ulcers

• Assessing & treating draining wounds, fistulae, and traumatic/surgical wounds

• Applying topical therapies & proper wound dressings

• Implementing preventative measures for ulcer reduction

• Educating patients & caregivers

• Supervising Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT)

• Providing comprehensive healing plans

Types of wounds treated include:
Acute wounds • Surgical & non-healing wounds • Trauma wounds • Burns • Arterial/venous/pressure/diabetic ulcers • Pilonidal cysts • Chronic venous insufficiency • Radiation injury • Gangrene

Treatments used:
Bioengineered skin • Debridement • HBOT • Incision & drainage • Negative pressure closure • Skin grafting • Unna boot • Total contact casting

📈 Workload

• 15–30 patients per day

✅ Required Qualifications

• ❤️ BLS – REQUIRED

• 💉 ACLS – Preferred (for HBO)

• 📜 Active Ohio License – REQUIRED
