We are seeking Locum Wound Care coverage at an outpatient clinic in Batavia, Ohio, to support physician gap coverage between permanent hires.

Required Duties
-
Treating and managing skin reactions, vascular ulcers, pressure ulcers, and diabetic ulcers
-
Preventing skin breakdown and initiating preventative measures
-
Comprehensive wound management and topical therapy application
-
Patient and caregiver education on wound care techniques and ulcer prevention
-
Assessment and treatment of draining wounds and fistulae
-
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) supervision
-
Proper wound dressing instruction and post-treatment follow-up
Types of Wounds Treated

Acute wounds (inflammatory, proliferative, and remodeling phases)

Surgical and non-healing surgical wounds

Traumatic wounds (cuts, punctures, burns, tears)

Ulcers (arterial, venous, pressure, diabetic)

Chronic venous insufficiency

Pilonidal cysts, gangrene, radiation injuries, burns
