Summary:

The Department of Surgery at WMCHealth is seeking an experienced clinical and academic surgeon to serve as the WMC Northern Region Wound Care Medical for MidHudson Regional Hospital and Health Alliance of the Hudson Valley in Kingston, NY.

Qualifications / Requirements:

The successful candidate will be board certified in General Surgery or Plastic Surgery with special interest and experience in integrated and multidisciplinary management of wound care. Hyperbaric experience and certification is preferred, as is research and academic interest. The Wound Care Section encompasses a multidisciplinary team providing advanced, high quality healthcare in and academic and community hospital setting. The Wound Care team consists of doctors, nurses, and other supportive services who work together to provide the best possible care in a state-of-the-art wound care centers, which includes participation of vascular, general, plastic, orthopedic, and podiatry surgeons. The candidate will have an academic appointment with the New York Medical College, commensurate with qualifications.
