Locums – Salem, Oregon, Urology Job
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: Extended coverage anticipated through September 2027
Schedule & Coverage:
-
Monday–Friday, 5 days per week
-
3–4 days per week in clinic and 1 day per week in the OR
-
Clinic hours: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
-
OR hours: 7:30 AM–5:30 PM
-
No call required
-
No weekends or after-hours responsibilities, except for completing and closing charts
Patient Volume:
-
Approximately 30–35 outpatient visits per day
Practice Details:
-
Outpatient urology clinic and operating room
-
Active Oregon medical license required
-
Robotic surgery proficiency preferred
Clinical Responsibilities & Procedures:
-
Baby circumcision
-
Cystoscopy
-
Nephrectomy
-
Ureteroscopy
-
Ureteral stent placement
-
Difficult catheter placement using cystoscopy and guidewire
-
Lithotripsy
-
Bladder fulguration
-
Irrigation and evacuation of blood clots
-
Urethral stricture dilation
-
Orchiopexy
-
Prostate needle biopsy
-
Sacral neuromodulation
-
Scrotal debridement
-
Scrotal exploration
-
Scrotal abscess incision and drainage (I&D)
-
Circumcision for paraphimosis
-
Suprapubic catheter placement
-
Transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP) — occasional
-
Transurethral resection of bladder tumor (TURBT) — occasional
-
Vasectomy
