Locums | Urology | Portsmouth, OH (OH or IMLC) Why This Role

Assignment Details Start/end: November 2026, ongoing Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 8a-4:30p; 3-4 half-day clinics; beeper call Coverage type: Scheduled clinical hours + call Call response: 30 minutes Volume: 15-20 office patients/day; ~4-8 hospital procedures/day Setting: Inpatient + outpatient; 2 procedure rooms, 1 UDS room, and 6 exam rooms Support: 2 NPs, 3 Medical Office Assistants, 6 clinical staff, 1 surgery scheduler, and 1 UDS technician EMR: MediTech Credentialing: ~90 days Clinical Details Required scope: General urology, advanced endoscopic techniques, laparoscopic surgery, PCNL, ureteroscopy, renal/bladder ultrasound with biopsy, TRUS biopsies, and incontinence procedures Office procedures include vasectomy, prostate biopsy, cystoscopy with stent removal, and prostate ultrasound Hospital scope includes broad endoscopic, stone, prostate, renal, reconstructive, and urologic procedures Robotic surgery not required Physician will supervise APPs and provide resident/teaching supervision Requirements BC in Urology required License: OH or IMLC ACLS and BLS required Active DEA Compensation Rate negotiable, open to your number Malpractice provided Travel and lodging reimbursed
