Clinical Role

• ASAP start with ongoing need
• Call coverage for urgent and emergent Urology cases
• Unassigned patients
• Level II Trauma Center
• Cases may include cystoscopy, ureteroscopy for stones, stent placement, bleeding, strictures, and other urgent/emergent Urology needs

Schedule & Call

• Call coverage
• 30-45 minute response time required

Equipment & OR Support

• Disposable and flexible cystoscopes and ureteroscopes
• Rigid telescopes
• Stents, baskets, dilators, catheters, and additional Urology instrumentation
• Laser services and Lithoclast
• TUR/TURB instrumentation
• In-house radiology support for intraoperative C-arm needs
• Video boom systems and OR tables equipped for Urologic procedures
• Mobile Urology Cart available for non-surgical care in the Emergency Department and inpatient units
• Cerner EMR

Requirements & Credentialing

• Board Certified in Urology required
• Active Florida license required
• Fellowship training preferred
• ACLS and BLS required
