Physician - Urology

Job Details:

• Urology coverage position with an ongoing contract
• Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (1 hour lunch) with no nighttime or weekend call
• Mix of hospital rounds, operating room, and clinic coverage
• Coverage needed for 6 weeks each month
• Minimum of 14 patients per day; new patient visits are 30 minutes maximum, post-op visits are 15 minutes
• Adult patient population only, no pediatrics
• Support staff includes 3 medical assistants, 1 LPN, a surgical scheduler, 3 front office staff, and a practice manager
• Practice setting includes clinic and operating room; occasional daytime hospital call for consults
• EMR: EPIC (clinic setting experience required)
• Special procedures include ureteroscopies; general urology skills required
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology required
• Active PA license or IMLC LOQ in hand required
• DEA required
• Minimum 3 years of experience required; new graduates will be considered

This is a community hospital with 73 beds, offering a well-established urology practice within a newly renovated department featuring 9 exam rooms and 3 procedure rooms. The facility is supported by a long-tenured, experienced staff team and provides a collaborative and efficient environment for physicians to deliver high-quality urological care.
