Job Details & Schedule
- Specialty: Urology
- Start Date: Immediate / ASAP
- End Date: Ongoing
- Coverage Type: Urgent / Emergent Call Only (Inpatient / ER On-Call Coverage)
Scope of Practice & Key Clinical Cases
- Urgent / Emergent Procedures: Cystoscopy, ureteroscopy for nephrolithiasis (stone management), ureteral stent placement, bladder clot evacuations, urethral stricture/urinary retention management, and acute bleed interventional management.
- On-Site Equipment Available:
- Disposable & flexible cystoscopes and ureteroscopes, plus rigid telescopes.
- In-house laser services and Lithoclast systems.
- Full spectrum of urological supplies (stents, baskets, dilators, catheters, and surgical instrumentation).
- TUR / TURBT instrumentation, Video boom systems in all OR suites, and adaptable urological OR tables.
- In-house radiology support available for intraoperative C-arm imaging needs.
- Fully stocked mobile Urology Cart for bedside care in the Emergency Department or Inpatient floors without requiring OR transfer.
Requirements & Credentials
- Board Certification: Board Certified (BC)
- Life Support Certifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Licensure: Active Florida (FL) license required upon candidate submission
- EMR System: Cerner
- Credentialing Timeline: 30–45 Days (Credentialing and privileging required prior to start)
