**Urology Hospitalist Opportunity**
* Located in Zanesville, OH - Columbus 55m
* Full-time, permanent position
**Position Overview**
* Full-time Urology Hospitalist opportunity
* 100% acute and inpatient Urology coverage
* 7-on / 7-off or similar block scheduling model
* Daily OR availability for emergency cases and kidney stones
* Provide inpatient management and consultation for patients with acute urological conditions
**Qualifications**
* MD or DO from an accredited medical school
* Completion of an accredited Urology residency
* Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
* State medical license
* DEA registration
* Experience providing Urology care in a hospital or acute care setting
* Strong diagnostic, procedural, and patient management skills
**Practice Highlights**
* Dedicated acute Urology practice with no routine outpatient responsibilities specified
* Daily operating room access for emergency Urology cases and stone procedures
* Evaluate and manage kidney stones, urinary tract infections, urinary retention, genitourinary cancers, and other acute urological conditions
* Procedures may include catheter placement, cystoscopy, bladder irrigation, and urinary diversion
* Provide Urology consultations to medical and surgical teams
* Daily inpatient rounding and case conferences
* Multidisciplinary collaboration with Hospitalists, surgeons, nurses, and other specialists
* Opportunities to participate in quality improvement, research, and Urology education
* Electronic medical record documentation
**Compensation & Benefits**
* 3-year guaranteed base salary
* Signing bonus
* $5,000 CME allowance
