Urology Physician Position OverviewLocum tenens coverage on a call-only basis. This is an ongoing opportunity for 2027, with initial coverage dates in November and December 2026.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to beeper calls with a 30-minute response time.
Patient encounters: 12-15 per shift.
Average phone consults: 2-3 per shift.
Average patients seen: 2-3 per shift.
Hands-on involvement: approximately 30%.
Work in outpatient, inpatient, and telehealth settings.
Call ratio: 1:6.
Rounding duties: both.
Candidate Requirements
Board certification required (Eligible minimum).
Fellowship preferred.
Current BLS certification (Red Cross or AHA).
Licensed in Washington or IMLC.
Hospital privileges required.
Malpractice insurance required per MultiCare standards for physicians: 2/4.
Organizational Highlights
Trauma Level 3 facility.
Experienced support team including 1 RN, 3 MAs, 1 PA/NP, and 3 office staff members.
Epic EMR system.
Location Information
Pacific Time Zone.
