Opportunity:
Physician - Urology
Job Details:
Provide 24-hour call coverage with shifts running 7:00 AM to 7:00 AMApproximately 4 12 shifts per month on a PRN basis
Support staff includes a Urology PA and inpatient support
Patient population is adult (18+) with variable daily patient volume
EMR systems include Cerner (inpatient) and GE Centricity (outpatient)
228-bed hospital operating as a Level II Trauma Center
Special procedures may include cystoscopy and/or stent placement for hematuria, kidney stone treatment with possible extraction or holmium laser lithotripsy, torsion of testicle (rare), UTI management, and Foley catheter placement consultation with ED or other providers
Rounding required in inpatient setting in the morning, with possible emergency surgery as needed
Board Certification required
Active Pennsylvania state license required (IMLC accepted)
DEA required; ACLS certification required
Minimum 1 2 years of experience preferred
Full travel covered including flight, rental car, and hotel
