Job Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour weekday coverage with potential emergency surgery needs.
• Conduct rounds on inpatients, particularly after performing procedures.
• Perform specialized procedures such as cystoscopy, stent placements, and kidney stone treatments.
• Engage in consultations for Foley catheter placements and other emergency urologic needs.

Qualifications

• Board Certification required
• State of PA license required (IMLC accepted)
• DEA required, ACLS certification required
• Preferred 1–2 years of experience

Working Hours

• 24-hour call shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM
• Variable monthly shifts: 4–10 per month

Skills

• Proficient in handling emergencies within an inpatient setting.
• Familiarity with EMR systems: Cerner inpatient; GE Centricity outpatient
• Ability to manage high patient volumes in a busy trauma setting.
