Locums – DuBois, Pennsylvania – Urology (IMLC Accepted)

Start Date: 11/2/2026

Contract Length:

  • Ongoing
  • PRN coverage
  • 2027 needs are ongoing, approximately 4–12 shifts per month

Shift Details:

  • 24-hour call
  • 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM
  • Approximately 4–10 shifts per month

2026 Coverage Dates:

  • October 13 at 7:00 AM – October 15 at 7:00 AM
  • November 2 at 7:00 AM – November 5 at 7:00 AM
  • November 9 at 7:00 AM – November 12 at 7:00 AM
  • November 30 at 7:00 AM – December 1 at 7:00 AM
  • December 17 at 7:00 AM – December 21 at 7:00 AM
  • December 28 at 7:00 AM – December 31 at 7:00 AM

Practice Setting:

  • Hospital
  • Level II Trauma Center
  • 228-bed hospital
  • Urology department

Patient Population:

  • Adults age 18+
  • Variable patient volume; patients are not scheduled

Support Staff:

  • Urology PA
  • Inpatient support

Clinical Responsibilities:

  • 24-hour weekday coverage
  • Inpatient rounding in the morning
  • Emergency surgery as needed
  • Rounding required if the locum performs a procedure and the patient remains admitted
  • Busy setting serving as a hub for surrounding facilities

Procedures & Cases:

  • Cystoscopy and/or stent placement for hematuria
  • Kidney stone treatment, including extraction or holmium laser lithotripsy
  • Testicular torsion — rare
  • UTI management
  • ED/provider consultations for Foley catheter placement

EMR:

  • Cerner – inpatient
  • GE Centricity – outpatient records

Requirements:

  • Pennsylvania license required; IMLC accepted
  • DEA required
  • ACLS required
  • 1–2 years of experience preferred
  • CSR not required
