Job Opportunity: Locum Urologist in Kearney, Nebraska

Summary: Join a dedicated team at a Level II Trauma center in Kearney, Nebraska, providing essential urology call coverage. This position offers a dynamic environment in an Emergency Department and Surgery setting, with support from surgery nurses and techs. Job Responsibilities:

• Provide urology call coverage, including handoff from urologists as necessary.
• Perform general urological procedures as required.
• Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and reporting.
• Respond to consultations and callbacks, ensuring excellent patient care.
• Collaborate with hospitalists for patient admissions.
• Manage your schedule effectively, including 24-hour call commitment.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology (REQUIRED).
• Active Nebraska Medical License (HIGHLY PREFERRED).
• Clean malpractice history (HIGHLY PREFERRED).
• Availability at the time of name clearing (REQUIRED).
• Case logs from the last two years required for interview consideration.

License and Certification Requirements:

• M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school.
• Current DEA registration.
• Active Nebraska medical license.
